The Cherry Pit heating pack, when warmed in a microwave oven for about 2 minutes, becomes a safe, convenient, comfortable non-electric heating pad! Compared to a conventional water bottle there is no mess, time wasted to warm water, and the Cherry Pit Heating pad holds the heat much longer than any water bottle. You can also place the cherry pit pack in your freezer and you have a convenient and flexible cold pack. Our selection of fabric patterns for our 6-1/2" X 17" neck size Cherry Pit Heating Pads are listed below. This cherry pit pack is great to place behind the neck when leaning back in the easy chair after a hard day of work or place across the lower back, feel that back pain go away. The Cherry Pit Pack will conform to your body to give a nice even coverage over the aching joints of your knees, shoulder, elbow, neck and back. Feel the relief from pain in your feet when you lay the cherry pit pack under your toes and let that warm moist heat sooth your aches. But this microwaveable heating pad is not just for heating; use it as an ice pack. This is excellent to help take the edge off that migraine headache. I keep one in the freezer, when I get a migraine I lay back with the cherry pit pack behind my upper neck. It wraps around the neck and cools the flow of blood to my head, relief! Bumps, scrapes, burns, your cherry pit pack cools and relieves the pain.
The Cherry Pit Heating Pad is filled with cherry pits that have been dried, cleaned, and sanitized. Cherry pits are like wooden peas, they are not a grain that will mold or mildew and they are not going to be an inviting treat for rodents, insects or pets. The fabric can be spot washed if dirty and can be placed in the washing machine on gentle cycle (place in a pillow case in case the machine agitation accidently tears the fabric) follow instructions on sheet you receive with your Cherry Pit Heating Pad. One of our customers told us she washes her cherry pit heating pad in the dishwasher and then dries it by running it through a couple of cycles in the microwave. We have not tried this yet but do not see why it would not work. Easy to clean, these re-useable heating/cooling packs are much safer than electric heating pads or bags of ice. |
